With the first rains of the season, one of our windows started leaking. We realized the issue was with the stucco at the deck above. After reading yelp reviews of different stucco contractors I called Marcelino Plastering and I am so glad I did. Asael Marcelino is very professional, punctual, friendly, and obviously very good at stucco. Honestly one of the best people I have worked with in the construction industry.

Soon as he started removing the plaster - we realized water had been infiltrating the structure for many years and there was significant damage. Asael is a great problem solver and has a very positive attitude, he quickly worked with us to remove the rotted wood and fix the issue. Even while we encountered several weather events. The work is now complete and we could not be happier.

Marcelino plastering did an excellent job on enclosing a 6'x2' window opening on my garage wall which had water intrusion due to improper window installation. The foreman, Omar and his crew were very professional. I liked how they set up the surrounding area to keep dust and busted up materials within the work area. This winter when the rains started I found I had a leak in my roof that did damage to my living room ceiling. It wasn't damage that you could just stucco over and paint. It needed an artist to fix this. I found my artist in Marcelino Plastering. Asael explained exactly what he needed to do and the steps involved. He was very responsive, punctual and professional. The way his crew covered EVERYTHING to keep the house clean was unbelievable. Every nook and cranny was covered and when they left you would never have known they had been there. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Dinni, Alvaro and Elias. They were so respectful of the property and did beautiful work.
I hope no more leaks but if it happens again I know exactly who to call.

Asael and his crew are fantastic! We had a 8' X 20' wall of nasty moldy stucco that Marcelino Plastering came in and replaced in only 5 days time. Asael was extremely punctuational, and the communication was always on point. The previous owner installed a sliding glass door without any appropriate flashing, and drilled a support beam of the deck right into the stucco wall. Years of water poured right into the wall, and Marcelino Plastering ripped it all out, put in a new deck beam, did all the stucco work, and made everything look perfect. I didn't have time to price other contractors, but when everything was amazing the cost was totally worth it.

Exceeded Expectations in many ways - 5 starts for sure ! Transparent pricing, exceptional customer focus, polite, organized, very attentive to details and completed the work on schedule. I contracted Marcelino services to correct/redo the work from another contractor, a much more difficult task. He protected the pavers (see picture) and every day left the site clean and organized. Marcelino carefully removed all the stucco that was poorly installed by the previous contractor and managed to avoid damages to the walls in and outside. He supervises the work of his crew and is HANDS ON. He does the work together with his employees and is always there to ensure all gets done with the highest quality. After a bad experience with the previous contractor, finding someone like Marcelino was refreshing - awesome experience. Before hiring any contractors, ALWAYS check CSLB website, ask if there are pending complaints and get references from previous work.

Asael and his team did incredible stucco work on my home - so much so that the painting team commented about how great it was.

I cannot recommend this company enough. He and his team showed up between 730-745am each morning. They worked throughout the whole day. Everyone was respectful. They were efficient. Best part, Asael was there each day working right alongside them. I always think it's key when the owner is there to provide guidance and supervise. Furthermore, Asael is very communicative and always cleaned up his work area after each day.

If you are thinking of doing stucco work, definitely reach out to him to get a quote. This is not the cheapest work, but it's also not the most expensive. They do honest work and I have full faith that his work will last me a very long time.

I hired Asael to repair a ceiling and wall that was damaged from an upstairs neighbor. He was great, and very easy to work with. Unlike some others, he offered to come take a look and gave me a quote in person.
I the had to reschedule 3 times, but he was accommodating. He and his team completed the job quickly. They made sure to cover the entire area and clean it thoroughly.

Marcelino Plastering spent 7 months on an extensive facade renovation of my 3 story corner apartment building. They did an amazing job, the finished building is stunning. I am pretty sure the building looks better than it did in 1926 when it was brand new! They replaced 90 windows in the building, not an easy job, with skill and expertise. They are hard workers, good craftsmen and very nice as well. They went above and beyond, and I highly recommend them for any of your contracting needs. I admit it was hard being inside my apartment for some of the work, but after the building was finished, I forgot all about the noise, dirt and inconvenience of those few months. It was definitely worth it and everyone I know has commented on how beautiful the building is now! 5 out of 5 stars!!

The owner has been doing miscellaneous work on our home for years. He has done work both on the interior and exterior of our home. My husband and I have been satisfied with all the work he has done for us. This company is honest, reliable and quick! Pricing is very fair. Five out of five stars for Marcelino Plastering. I wanted to have fifty-five linear feet of wall covered with colored stucco. I reached out to ten local contractors. Six got back to me and four came to my house to discuss the job. Asael Marcelino stood out because he took the time to really understand my needs. He also offered suggestions for how the design of the wall finished product could be improved. He then went into detail regarding what he would do if given the job. The next day I received a nicely detailed proposal. I had no problem selecting Marcelino Plastering and things only got better from there. Asael returns calls, texts, and emails promptly which is not something all contractors are good at. Scheduling was a breeze and his team of four showed up as planned over the course of several days and got the job done quickly and professionally. They took great care to mask off and protect my property, sidewalk, and trees before applying any stucco. After each day's work was done, they cleaned up completely. I was impressed that Asael wanted me to be available in case any questions came up. When a couple did, I was able to answer them on the spot so that work did not slow down and, more importantly, so that the finished product would be perfect. The finished wall is beautiful, and I can enthusiastically recommend Asael Marcelino and his fine team of workers at Marcelino Plastering.
